The five stones of David

Introduction
As we have seen in some other studies related to the conquest this year we should do, we will face with giants throughout our way, who as the spies guided by God said, are going to be a piece of cake:

Num 13:25 At the end of 40 days they returned from scouting out the land.
Num 13:26 The men went back to Moses, Aaron, and the entire Israelite community in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They brought back a report for them and the whole community, and they showed them the fruit of the land.
Num 13:28 However, the people living in the land are strong, and the cities are large and fortified. We also saw the descendants of Anak there.

Like the verse 33 say, the descendants of Anak are giants.

Num 13:30 Then Caleb quieted the people in the presence of Moses and said, "We must go up and take possession of the land because we can certainly conquer it!"

Hence, God is preparing us for the battle. First we saw the armor and weapons the giants may have, but now we'll see one of the weapons that we can use to defeat them:

1Sa 17:40 He took his shepherd's stick and then picked up five smooth stones from the stream and put them in his bag. With his sling ready, he went out to meet Goliath.

Although there are several elements: staff, stones, pouch and sling, in this study we will discuss about the 5 stones. What does the Bible say regarding the stone?

1Pe 2:8 And another scripture says, "This is the stone that will make people stumble, the rock that will make them fall." They stumbled because they did not believe in the word; such was God's will for them.

Based on this verse, we understand that the stones are exemplifying the Word. What this means is that there are 5 different types of Word with which we will defeat giants:
THE STONE EBEN (H68)
1Sa 17:49 He reached into his bag and took out a stone, which he slung at Goliath. It hit him on the forehead and broke his skull, and Goliath fell face downward on the ground.

There is a Word given by the Holy Spirit, which can be thrown to the forehead of the giants. IT IS THE APOSTHOLIC STONE OR WORD.

This is a word that the people of God can give to powers, when recognizes and is under God's order. Is not all about being in a church or a mission where there is an apostle, what it means is to live under the cover of the apostolic order.
Joseph had that blessing:

Gen 49:22 "Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; his branches run over the wall.

See the key to success of Joseph:
a) Bough, this means he stayed attached to a tree. This exemplifies remaining under a minister´s coverage.
b) He fructified a lot under that coverage because was attached to a source. When the Bible speaks of a source also refers to a ministry who shoots water to your life and therefore you become very fructiferous.
c) The stems, exemplifying again the fruits, with which you can conquer even if there is a wall (opposition).

Gen 49:24 yet his bow remained unmoved; his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),
Note how the bow is related with two things: the sheperd and the Stone. Remember that the one who sends is the Apostle directly or indirectly through a pastor.

Gen 49:25 by the God of your father who will help you, by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that crouches beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

Again it says by the God of your coverage, God will descend:
Blessings of heaven above, ie coming from the heavens and the heavenly places where our blessings are accumulated.
Blessings of the deep, ie those things the enemy will try to turn into a curse against us, but if we are under the command of God, God turns the curse into a blessing for his people.
The blessings of the breasts are through spiritual milk, which is the pure doctrine, unadulterated, which is given by the genuine Apostles of God.
And the blessings of the womb, these are the ones that come as a result of letting us breed by the revealed Word of God.

Gen 49:26 The blessings of your father are mighty beyond the blessings of my parents, up to the bounties of the everlasting hills. May they be on the head of Joseph, and on the brow of him who was set apart from his brothers.

All this has to be ON THE FOREHEAD, ie the apostolic Stone is that we reach an understanding of the Word, thus we can take one stone and therefore throw it out in the Name of Jesus and defeat giants.

Eph 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
Eph 1:19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might

When there is understanding of the Word, there´s hope to achieve all that which God has called us for, there is understanding to know which are our wealth and understanding to see the manifestation of the greatness of his power.
When there is no apostolic word, there is no understanding to topple giants of greed, ignorance or conformity. Eben Stone, is thus the apostolic preaching.

THE STONE GAZÍT (H1496)
From the hebrew that means SOMETHING CUT.

Exo 20:25 If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones, for if you wield your tool on it you profane it.

This is the evangelistic word with which the altars of God are made of, not humanistic arguments, but with the genuine message of Salvation of Jesus Christ, which does not need to be offering televisions, stereos or worldly songs to attract people.

Jos 8:30 At that time Joshua built an altar to the LORD, the God of Israel, on Mount Ebal,
Jos 8:31 just as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded the people of Israel, as it is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, "an altar of uncut stones, upon which no man has wielded an iron tool." And they offered on it burnt offerings to the LORD and sacrificed peace offerings.

An evangelistic word makes others become living stones to honor God, and when God is honored his Presence descends and drives away our enemies:

1Pe 2:5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

THE STONE GOFRÍT H1614
It also translates as sulfur (flammable), sulfur stone.
This is a word that burns the flesh, which makes burn in the earth anything else that does not work:

Gen 19:24 Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven.

Is a Word that causes deep pain to the giants, sent from the devil that can be destroyed only with an instruction that makes them burn:

Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

All these are giants who sometimes have taken the people of God and must be destroyed, not with an indulgent word, but a word that makes them burn and destroy.

Rev 20:10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

That is why a false teacher is a deceiver:

Jud 1:3 Dearly beloved, taking all care to write unto you concerning your common salvation, I was under a necessity to write unto you: to beseech you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.
Jud 1:4 For certain men are secretly entered in (who were written of long ago unto this judgment), ungodly men, turning the grace of our Lord God into riotousness and denying the only sovereign Ruler and our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Pe 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers who shall bring in sects of perdition and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their riotousness, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not: and their perdition slumbereth not.
A false teacher does not throw an accurate Stone, but lost teaching the saved, but the magisterial Stone, although sometimes it is painful, it destroys false arguments.
THE STONE TSUR (H6697)
Rock, figuratively shelter.

Exo 17:6 Behold I will stand there before thee, upon the rock Horeb, and thou shalt strike the rock, and water shall come out of it that the people may drink. Moses did so before the ancients of Israel:

This is the pastoral word, the one which helps you to find a refreshing word whenever you feel you cannot go on, it strengthens you and makes you feel safe to move forward:

Psa 23:1 A psalm for David. The Lord ruleth me: and I shall want nothing.
Psa 23:2 He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment:
Psa 23:3 He hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name's sake.
Psa 23:4 For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me.

Hence, the pastoral word is a confession you make with the certainty that God will never abandon you.

THE STONE SÉLA (5553)
Deu 32:12 The Lord alone was his leader: and there was no strange god with him.
Deu 32:13 He set him upon high land: that he might eat the fruits of the fields, that he might suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the hardest stone,

There is a honey that flows from the rock, is a prophetic word with which God leads his people and makes them see those things that cannot be seen with their natural eyes:

1Sa 14:27 But Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people: and he put forth the end of the rod, which he had in his hand, and dipt it in a honeycomb: and he carried his hand to his mouth, and his eyes were enlightened.

Job 39:27 Will the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest in high places?
Job 39:28 She abideth among the rocks, and dwelleth among cragged flints, and stony hills, where there is no access.
Job 39:29 From thence she looketh for the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.

The prophetic word makes collapse those giants that do not want you to take your prey, but when you confess this word and see what God has for you to do, it makes them go out of you way.
