The Eternal Life

Introduction

All the Christians want to be good and without suffer treats. The Bible states that suffer is part of the perfectionism in our lives, but there is another bad aspect presented when the God´s anger is manifested:

Rom 3:5 But what if our doing wrong serves to show up more clearly God's doing right? Can we say that God does wrong when he punishes us? (This would be the natural question to ask.)

God neither is unfair nor is bad. He is fair when his anger is manifested. Some verses show us that the God´s anger is shortly over our lives:

Sal 30:5 His anger lasts only a moment, his goodness for a lifetime. Tears may flow in the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Lam 3:31 The Lord is merciful and will not reject us forever.

Lam 3:32 He may bring us sorrow, but his love for us is sure and strong.

We, the God´s sons, have to know that there is useful key for being save of the God´s anger. That is TO FILL WITH THE ETERNAL LIFE.

Jua 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not have life, but will remain under God's punishment.

In Greek the word "has" is éjo and is translated as "to have conceived". It means that the person who has believed in the Son has conceived eternal life and that involve that the eternal life HAS TO GROW INTO OUR LIVES.

The key is HAVING MORE AND MORE ETERNAL LIFE INTO US. It means that all the vanity way of living has to eliminated and having all those things that are forever. So, how can we get more and more eternal life?

Jua 6:67 So he asked the twelve disciples, "And you---would you also like to leave?"

Jua 6:68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.

We need to look for the words (spirits) that give us eternal life.

Jua 6:63 What gives life is God's Spirit; human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God's life-giving Spirit.

Those words have a specific characteristic and it is not easy to obtain it because it is very hard to us.

Jua 6:60 Many of his followers heard this and said, "This teaching is too hard. Who can listen to it?"

Jua 6:66 Because of this, many of Jesus' followers turned back and would not go with him any more.

In Greek, the word "hard" is translated as a harsh, severe, hard thing.

So, if we want to have eternal life WE HAVE TO TAKE HARSH DECISIONS IN OUR LIVES, those decisions that are painful but are necessary to get eternal life.

The meaning of "hard" can also be translated as skinny.

It means that to fill with eternal life it is necessary a skinny in the way of walking in the world and to star to walk like a real son of God.

Where does the word can be found?

Sal 133:1 How wonderful it is, how pleasant, for God's people to live together in harmony!

Sal 133:2 It is like the precious anointing oil running down from Aaron's head and beard, down to the collar of his robes.

Sal 133:3 It is like the dew on Mount Hermon, falling on the hills of Zion. That is where the LORD has promised his blessing--- life that never ends.

In order to obtain eternal life it is necessary to do some things:

To live together in harmony

    In Greek the word "to live" is translated as a TO SIT, to stay, to settle.

A Christian that never to settle in a house of God is someone who do not obtain eternal life.

Is necessary to be under an order: head, beard, collar, robes.

If there are not an order, DO NOT COME ETERNAL LIFE.

Is necessary the dew:

Deu 32:2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

Not only is necessary to teach, but also is important to understand.

In Greek the word "speech" means COMMANDMENT. So, there is eternal life when we understand that the words of God are commandments not suggestions.

Let´s check the list: Do we attend to church? Do we recognize authority? Is there word reveled where we attend? Do we obey that word?

If all the answers to all those questions are yes, YOU ARE OBTAINING ETERNAL LIFE AND FOR THIS REASON YOU WILL NOT SEE THE GOD´S ANGER.

Where else the eternal life can be found?

Mat 19:16 Once a man came to Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what good thing must I do to receive eternal life?"

Mat 19:17 "Why do you ask me concerning what is good?" answered Jesus. "There is only One who is good. Keep the commandments if you want to enter life."

Mat 19:20 "I have obeyed all these commandments," the young man replied. "What else do I need to do?"

Mat 19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come and follow me."

The eternal life is not obtained by the hope of receiving. By the contrary, it is obtained by giving what we have in order to give.

In Greek, the word "gives" means: deliver, freedom, to share out, TO HAVE COMPASSION.

You receive eternal life when you share with the poor either materially or spiritually.

There is another way to receive eternal life:

Mat 25:46 These, then, will be sent off to eternal punishment, but the righteous will go to eternal life."

The righteous receives eternal life. The righteous has some characteristics:

Deu 16:19 – do not discriminate.

Lev 19:36 – make fair business.

Deu 12:28 – carefully listen the word of God.

1 Sa 24:17 – treat the others well even whether he was treated bad by them.

1 Cro 21:24 – make fair payments.

Neh 9:8 – keep his word.

Psal 37:21 – not only pays his debt, but also shares to the poor.

There is something more to get eternal life.

Jua 4:14 but those who drink the water that I will give them will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give them will become in them a spring which will provide them with life-giving water and give them eternal life."

Jua 7:38 whoever believes in me should drink. As the scripture says, 'Streams of life-giving water will pour out from his side.' "

Jua 7:39 Jesus said this about the Spirit, which those who believed in him were going to receive. At that time the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not been raised to glory.

To fill more and more of the Holy Spirit provide you eternal life. To study the Bible and to understand that the eternal life is into Jesus provide you eternal life too:

Jua 5:39 You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And these very Scriptures speak about me!

Rom 6:23 For sin pays its wage---death; but God's free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Bible without Christ is like another single book, BUT WITH CHRIST INTO US IT PROVIDE US ETERNAL LIFE.

Jua 6:54 Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day.

Jua 6:55 For my flesh is the real food; my blood is the real drink.

It is not only bread and wine, is flesh and blood that mean to eat death and resurrection.

From Jesus came up power for resurrection but also came up power for death. Those who are willing to reject their passion and sins, and eat bread during the holy dinner will be able to die in order to resuscitate and thus, receiving eternal life.

Isa 54:7 "For one brief moment I left you; with deep love I will take you back.

Isa 54:8 I turned away angry for only a moment, but I will show you my love forever." So says the LORD who saves you.
