Prosperity in everything

November 2nd. 2010, The Preparation Year

Introduction

The lack of a sound economy in the family brings problems such as anger between espouses and family frustrations. With the help of God a series of topics about getting the economy better will be developed.

First of all it is necessary to bear in mind that NOTHING IN THE EARTH BELONG US, even whether we achieve it by ourselves.

Sal 24:1 (A psalm by David.) The earth and everything on it belong to the LORD. The world and its people belong to him.

It shows that all men in the world are administrator of God´s things. So we have to learn to be honest, responsible and diligence with all the things God puts in our hands:

We are owner of nothing, just administrators.

Mat 25:14 The kingdom is also like what happened when a man went away and put his three servants in charge of all he owned.

Some day God will ask us about what we have done with his possessions.

Mat 25:19 Some time later the master of those servants returned. He called them in and asked what they had done with his money.

We have to be honest in order to manage.

Mat 25:21 "Wonderful!" his master replied. "You are a good and faithful servant. I left you in charge of only a little, but now I will put you in charge of much more. Come and share in my happiness!"

The Word "good" may be translated from the greek as HONEST. It means that many people cannot to manage the material things because they are not honest firstly with God and then with the men. So it is necessary to have an honest way of managing.

How we can do that? Making a budget and to execute it in an honest and ordained way.

Pro 11:24 There are some who scatter their own, and make it more, and there are some also who gather, yet have less.

Key in order to obtain more from God: TO KNOW HOW TO SCATTER = BUDGET MAKING.

THE TITHES: Mal 3:10 Bring all your tithes into the treasure house…

Gén 4:3 After some time Cain brought some of his harvest and gave it as an offering to the LORD.

Gén 4:4 Then Abel brought the first lamb born to one of his sheep, killed it, and gave the best parts of it as an offering. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering,

Gén 4:5 but he rejected Cain and his offering. Cain became furious, and he scowled in anger.

THE OFFERING:

Mal 3:8 I ask you, is it right for a person to cheat God? Of course not, yet you are cheating me. 'How?' you ask. In the matter of tithes and offerings.

It is well know that everybody wants the best things and the Bible states that it is right because we are in the pact, but the Bible also says:

Luc 12:48 …Much is required from the person to whom much is given; much more is required from the person to whom much more is given.

Here is a principle that states our offering should be higher than the offering asked by order.

THE HOUSE:

1Ti 5:8 But if any do not take care of their relatives, especially the members of their own family, they have denied the faith and are worse than an unbeliever.

THE POOR:

Sal 112:9 He gives generously to the needy, and his kindness never fails; he will be powerful and respected.

Have you already scattered? DO NOT FORGET THE POOR.

What is the purpose of our work? TO BEAR IN MIND THE PURPOSE OF YOUR WORK.

Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD by making him an offering from the best of all that your land produces.

Pro 3:10 If you do, your barns will be filled with grain, and you will have too much wine to store it all.

If you do not honor the Lord, all what you do will be vanity.

Ecl 2:11 Then I thought about all that I had done and how hard I had worked doing it, and I realized that it didn't mean a thing. It was like chasing the wind---of no use at all.

One of the most common problems in the world is that several hundred people (either they work a lot or a few) do not know or forget that ALL WHAT THEY MATERIALLY DO WITHOUT THE PURPOSE OF HONOR GOD IS VANITY. Is the dangerous because some stranger may enjoy the product of work.

Ecl 6:1 I have noticed that in this world a serious injustice is done.

Ecl 6:2 God will give us wealth, honor, and property, yes, everything we want, but then will not let us enjoy it. Some stranger will enjoy it instead. It is useless, and it just isn't right.

If God gives wealth, honor, and property, why sometime he do not let

to enjoy it? Because it is not known that those things have to be served.

Deu 28:47 The LORD blessed you in every way, but you would not serve him with glad and joyful hearts.

Deu 28:48 So then, you will serve the enemies that the LORD is going to send against you. You will be hungry, thirsty, and naked---in need of everything. The LORD will oppress you harshly until you are destroyed.

It means that all what a person does without a spiritual purpose will not be beneficial.

Luc 12:29 "So don't be all upset, always concerned about what you will eat and drink.

Luc 12:30 (For the pagans of this world are always concerned about all these things.) Your Father knows that you need these things.

Luc 12:31 Instead, be concerned with his Kingdom, and he will provide you with these things.

The statistics states that the majority of men work two third parts of their lives spending health in order to earn money. And in the rest of their lives they spend money in order to recover health.

For having a material prosperity life it is necessary to know two important things:

Do not be worry about material things.

In greek the word "worry" is ZETEO. It means TO ADORE, to complot against the life, to ask.

So when a person has as a priority the material things, his vision has changed. He lost the vision of the God´s Kingdom and now he focuses in the things provided by the world.

The word "concerned" comes from the same greek root of ZETEO and it states that we have to make a effort in order to be concerned with the Kingdom instead of looking for another things.

How and what things we have to spend the money?

1Ti 6:8 So then, if we have food and clothes, that should be enough for us.

First, it is necessary to invest in the INTERNAL BENEFITS, then in the external ones. It means (after to have given to God) that first of all we have to invest in all those things that edify the life, then to invest in the outside things. If we have both WE HAVE TO BE HAPPY and we will be able to advance another level.

Flp 4:12 I know what it is to be in need and what it is to have more than enough. I have learned this secret, so that anywhere, at any time, I am content, whether I am full or hungry, whether I have too much or too little.

Flp 4:11 And I am not saying this because I feel neglected, for I have learned to be satisfied with what I have.

The key for God consider you as a faithful person either you have much or little is BEING HAPPY AND BEING INTO THE ORDER OR GOD.

1Ti 6:9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and are caught in the trap of many foolish and harmful desires, which pull them down to ruin and destruction.

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a source of all kinds of evil. Some have been so eager to have it that they have wandered away from the faith and have broken their hearts with many sorrows.

1Ti 6:11 But you, man of God, avoid all these things. Strive for righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
