Benefits of the apostolic coverage

Introduction

Based on the Bible and on some themes of the Apostle Sergio, this topic we will know some benefits of the coverage.

Why are so opposed to receiving it?, What is it?, Is so simple and for that reason invisible, or so deep that it is a secret?, What benefits does it have that causes attacks, distrust, contradictions, and when we see on the Word those who refused it, lost the most wonderful blessings?.

    When we talk about ministerial coverage, we mean that spiritual state of obedience that allows us to recognize hierarquies in the spiritual warfare, and by the faith and knowledge that equips us to face the battles of the Christian life. Let´s look at an example:

Mat 8:5 When Jesus entered Capernaum, a Roman officer met him and begged for help:

Mat 8:6 "Sir, my servant is sick in bed at home, unable to move and suffering terribly."

Mat 8:7 "I will go and make him well," Jesus said.

Mat 8:8 "Oh no, sir," answered the officer. "I do not deserve to have you come into my house. Just give the order, and my servant will get well.

Mat 8:9 I, too, am a man under the authority of superior officers, and I have soldiers under me. I order this one, 'Go!' and he goes; and I order that one, 'Come!' and he comes; and I order my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."

Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he was surprised and said to the people following him, "I tell you, I have never found anyone in Israel with faith like this.

    Jesus was amazed of that Roman soldier, because that man (who was gentile) understand that the kingdom of God Works through hierarchies. Note that in the verse 9 clearly says I AM A MAN UNDER AUTHORITY, in other words, his faith got potentialized because he understood and believed in the delegations in the Kingdom of God. So the coverage will allow that because of your faith in God´s promises you can reach the promises that God has established for your life.

    When the people do not understand the principle of authority (i.e. the recognition of ministerial hierarchy) cannot reach all the blessings of God, for example:

Mat 13:57 And so they rejected him. Jesus said to them, "A prophet is respected everywhere except in his hometown and by his own family."

Mat 13:58 Because they did not have faith, he did not perform many miracles there.

    Note that he did not perform many miracles, not only because they did not have faith, BUT THEY DID NOT RECOGNIZE THAT THEY HAD A PROPHET WITH THEM IN THEIR HOUSE. In verse 57 Jesus refers to the lack of recognition that sometimes exists between the people of God. That is why the Scripture says:

Mat 10:41 Whoever welcomes God's messenger because he is God's messenger, will share in his reward. And whoever welcomes a good man because he is good, will share in his reward.

    The issue is not that the ministers want a vain recognition, the matter is that God in his servants delegated its authority to bless his people, so if we go back to the history of the Roman centurion, he said:

Mat 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

    To paraphrase, what the centurion said: I already understood that I am less hierarchy that you (AND HE WAS HEAD OF A HUNDRED), that is why he said "I AM NOT WORTHY THAT THOU SHOULDEST COME UNDER MY ROOF", in other words, "I am not worthy, nor I can give you coverage to you", let's continue reading:

Mat 8:9 I, too, am a man under the authority of superior officers, and I have soldiers under me. I order this one, 'Go!' and he goes; and I order that one, 'Come!' and he comes; and I order my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."

    The centurion recognized the hierarchy of Jesus and therefore he received the blessing of Christ.

    In the mundane, is like recognize the authority that an attorney has, when you face a problem that you cannot solve alone you just say: Talk to my lawyer. Why? because you know that man has a legally established authority greater that the one that you have

    In the spiritual is alike, a sheep does not have the same spiritual authority of a pastor and a pastor does not have the same spiritual authority that an Apostle, why?, Because God works that way. Look to the Apostle Paul:

1Co 11:2 I praise you because you always remember me and follow the teachings that I have handed on to you.

    The one instructing was an Apostle (incidentally that was not the 12 of the lamb, but the first of the Holy Spirit) but be careful because he is explaining the order in the kingdom:

1Co 11:3 But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God is supreme over Christ.

    Did you notice?, even Christ being God himself acknowledges coverage on The God Father. Why? Because God is a God of order, so THERE IS BLESSING WITHIN THE ORDER.

    What if someone does not want to put under the authority of God, that is if not to recognize the 5 ministries given by God? Do not lose his salvation but does not reach all the promises of the kingdom.

    The apostle Paul clearly says he is an apostle for those who have faith to believe:

Tit 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is according to godliness;

    Please notice, he says "ACCORDING TO THE FAITH OF GOD´S ELECTS".

    Now let's discover in the Bible the benefits of the apostolic coverage:

1)    Removes Fear:

Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called to Adam, and said to him, Where art thou?

Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden: and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

    Note that Adam was afraid because he was naked. Much people of God will live in fear in the last time BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL NAKED. They will fear of violence, fear about the economy, fear of the disasters that happen on the earth, but God gives us the solution:

Gen 3:21 For Adam also and for his wife the LORD God made coats of skins, and clothed them.

    When you leave covered by the clothes that God made to his church, walk on earth without fear because you can be certain that there is someone that covers and protects. So the Lord said that on a high there is a higher one.

2)    We get prepared for marriage:

Gen 24:64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she alighted from the camel.

Gen 24:65 For she had said to the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a veil and covered herself.

     Look at Rebecca, when she was smitten by Isaac, what she did was cover herself because she was going to marry. In the world some people begin their affair as contrary to the kingdom of God, as some want to get naked first, before marriage.

    But in God, the Church that gets married needs to be dressed, MEANING COVERED.

3)    Provides the blessing of the primogeniture:

Gen 27:15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which was with her in the house, and put it upon Jacob her younger son:

Gen 27:16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats on his hands, and on the smooth part of his neck:

    As we know, Jacob was the second child, but AFTER HE ACCEPTED TO BE DRESSED, he was blessed like a firstborn. Look:

Gen 27:27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:

Gen 27:28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

Gen 27:29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee; be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

Having coverage means thus be enabled to achieve the best blessings of God.

4)    Provides cleaning:

Num 19:15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

    Recognizing coverage brings the benefit of purification through humiliation. Remember that we are often established figure for vessels, but Numbers 19:5 says that the open or discovered vessel remains unclean.

    If you truly recognize coverage, you´ll benefit from this blessing even if perhaps you made a mistake but you are humble enough to accept the correction that the Minister who covers you is giving

5)    Gives the opportunity to appear before the resurrected:

Joh 21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith to Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt on his fisher's coat, (for he was naked) and cast himself into the sea.

    This is the passage when the resurrected Jesus appeared in the show and the disciples saw him. But note that it clearly says that Peter was naked , and in order to present himself before Jesus HE PUT HIS COAT ROUND HIM and THEN WENT INTO THE SEA.

    The church that is no longer dressed may not be at the parousia of Christ.

6)    He exalts us before the glorification.

1Pe 5:6 For this cause make yourselves low under the strong hand of God, so that when the time comes you may be lifted up;

    Those who have had the privilege of being sent to serve in God´s work, can testify, having experienced the difference when you work for persona initiative, that when you have been sent to work, i.e. recognizing that on a high There is another higher, and that because of being under God´s authority He exalts us.

7)    Provides Glory

Isa 4:5 And over every living-place on Mount Zion, all over all her meetings, the Lord will make a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, for over all, the glory of the Lord will be a cover and a tent;

    See that God established that IN EVERY LIVING-PLACE ON MOUNT ZION (i.e. the Church of Christ), over all her meetings, there must be a tent. So we can say that the COVERAGE PROVIDES GLORY.
